THE WILL ON KILL乐队在2014年成立于核都广州，以Post-hardcore风格作为创作基调，热血激昂的曲风作为核心力量，并以狂躁的现场和多变的曲风获得粤核班霸的美称。 多年以来的探索试着加入不同的音乐元素，尝试创造具有粤语文化特色的重型音乐，2017年发布的单曲《落雨大》中，首次用粤语童谣与重型音乐结合，迅速被广大重型乐迷熟知，并在此期间受邀参与国际乐队Crossfaith、Crystal lake、Adpet等演出嘉宾。 2019年发布首张全长专辑《Upside Down》，以粤核重型的标签，正式启动了首次的全国巡演，2020发布EP《博弈轮》，再次展开了长达16站的全国巡演，多年以来在舞台中保持着沉稳的演奏技巧与狂躁的舞台表现力，渐渐成为南方重型音乐中的一股精神力量，期间乐队多次登上MIDI迷笛音乐节、one of us重型音乐节等舞台，在2021年的博弈轮全国巡演广州站中，更是以1200人票房创造了本土重型乐队的佳绩。
