Deadmau5，原名Joel Thomas Zimmerman，是一位加拿大前卫浩室音乐制作人及唱片骑师，出生在加拿大多伦多市。加拿大顶尖DJ，发行过《Rope（deadmau5 Edits）》《mau5hax-miami》《Deadmau5-Maths》《The Veldt》等多张专辑。早年多在多伦多表演，现则主要于美国洛杉矶表演。齐默曼常戴着会发出各式灯光的老鼠头盔表演。齐默曼常使用多种不同的浩室及电子音乐风格创作音乐，所创作的歌曲也被收录在多张合辑中。首张专辑《Get Scraped》于2005年发行，后也相继发行《Vexillology》《Random Album Title》《你说了算》《4x4=12》《大名在此》等数张专辑，其中《4x4=12》与《大名在此》更是相继入围格莱美奖最佳电子/舞曲专辑奖。齐默曼除了自己发行专辑外，也常与其他知名音乐家共同合作歌曲。除了电子鼠以外，齐默曼也使用过数个艺名，如齐默曼早年曾使用“Dred And Karma”为名在加拿大发行名为《I Don’t Want No Other》的12吋单曲。齐默曼在2006年发行的专辑《Deadmau5 Circa 1998–2002》则使用“Halcyon441”。齐默曼曾使用多个音乐软件创作音乐，在2012年一次网络直播中，他提到他常以Ableton Live搭Steinberg出品的Cubase与Nuendo制作音乐。 2016年全球百大DJ排名31。
