The Pogues
The Pogues是爱尔兰传统曲调风格的一个乐队，由8人构成。一个兼收并蓄的团体，将朋克的原始能量和政治愤怒与爱尔兰民间的结构和工具结合在一起。通过证明朋克精神可以在传统爱尔兰民间音乐中体现出来，是80年代中期最激进的乐队之一。乐器上，除了传统的三大件：吉他、贝司、鼓之外，他们还加入了班卓琴、曼陀林、笛子、萨克斯、风琴等乐器。1982年Shane MacGowan(主唱、吉他)、Spider Stacy(锡口笛)、James Fearnley(手风琴)、Cait O'Riordan(贝斯)、Jem Finer(吉他、斑鸠琴)、Andrew Rankin(鼓手)等六人正式组成棒客乐团，到1996年解散前团员更动或增加为八人，新任贝斯手是Darryl Hunt，增加两位团员是吉他手Philip Chevron与Terry Woods负责曼陀铃。棒客乐团终于在1996年划下休止符。
