George Michael
George Michael（乔治·迈克尔），原名Georgios Kyriacos Panayiotou（乔治斯·基里亚科斯·帕纳约托），1963年6月25日出生于英国伦敦北部，英国希腊裔创作歌手，当代最成功的西洋流行歌手之一。 1981年，与安德鲁·维治利组成威猛乐队，之后推出了《Careless Whisper》《Last Christmas》等歌曲。1985年，威猛乐队在北京和广州举办演唱会，成为改革开放后第一支到中国大陆演出的西方流行乐队。1986年，因乐队解散而单飞。1987年，发行首张个人录音室专辑《Faith》，该专辑获得了第31届格莱美奖“年度专辑”，全球销量达2500万张。1989年，获得第6届MTV音乐录影带奖“录影带先锋奖”。1988年，凭借歌曲《I Knew You Were Waiting(For Me)》获得了第30届格莱美奖“最佳R＆B乐队/组合”。1990年，发行第二张个人录音室专辑《Listen Without Prejudice Vol.1》。1996年，发行了第三张个人录音室专辑《Older》。1999年，发行翻唱专辑《Songs From The Last Century》。 2004年，发行第四张录音室专辑《Patience》。2006年起，举行为期两年的“25现场”世界巡回演唱会。2012年，担任伦敦奥运会闭幕式表演嘉宾。2014年，发行现场录音专辑《Symphonica》。 2023年，乔治·迈克尔入驻美国摇滚名人堂。
