威肯（The Weeknd），原名阿贝尔·马可尼恩·特斯法耶（Abęl Makkonen Tesfaye），1990年2月16日出生于加拿大多伦多安大略士嘉伯，加拿大歌手、词曲作者、音乐制作人、演员。 2011年，威肯先后发行了三张混音带而进入乐坛。2013年，发行个人首张录音室专辑《Kiss Land》。2014年，为电影《五十度灰》献唱主题曲《Earned It》，该曲获得了第58届格莱美奖最佳R＆B表现，入围了第88届奥斯卡金像奖最佳原创歌曲。2015年，发行第二张专辑《Beauty Behind The Madness》，该专辑获得了第58届格莱美奖最佳当代城市专辑，收获了《Can’T Feel My Face》《The Hills》两首公告牌百强单曲榜的冠军单曲。2016年，发行第三张录音室专辑《Starboy》，同名单曲《Starboy》取得公告牌百强单曲榜冠军，该专辑获得了第60届格莱美奖最佳当代城市专辑。 2020年，发行第四张录音室专辑《After Hours》，专辑诞生了《Heartless》《Blinding Lights》《Save Your Tears》三支公告牌百强单曲榜冠军单曲；同年，入选《时代周刊》“百大全球最具影响力人物”榜单。2021年，在第55届超级碗中场秀上带来演出；同年，被世界粮食计划署任命为亲善大使。2022年，发行第五张录音室专辑《Dawn FM》，同年凭借歌曲《Hurricane》获得第64届格莱美奖最佳旋律说唱歌手。2023年，被吉尼斯世界纪录认证为“世界上最受欢迎的艺术家”；同年，主演的电视剧《偶像漩涡》播出。2月24日，与爱莉安娜·格兰德共同演唱的混音版单曲《Die For You》上线。 威肯他拥有7首获得美国唱片业协会认证的“钻石单曲”、7首公告牌百强单曲榜冠军单曲。其中《Blinding Lights》更是登上了公告牌百强单曲历史总榜的第一名。他曾获得4项格莱美奖。
