乐队Story Of The Year来自密苏里州圣路易市，是现在最动力的乐队之一。原名为Big Blue Monkey的他们，成立于1997年。开始一段时期，虽然他们多年努力、多次队员的变动，有许多在圣路易演出的机会，但仍然没有受到人们的关注。后来偶然之下，他们的一张专辑落到乐队Goldfinger的吉他手John Feldmann 手中。于是他们获得了跟Goldfinger 一同演出的机会，队名也改为现在的 Story of the Year。也是从那个时候起，乐队开始了自己的音乐历程。Story Of The Year乐队发行的录音室专辑有《Page Avenue 》《In the Wake of Determination》和《The Black Swan》，EP专辑有《ThreeDaysBroken》《Truth In Separation》和《Story of the Year》
