As the daughter of a renowned Indian playback singer, Sujatha Mohan, she grew up watching her mother sing and so always wanted to be like her. While her mother's music has always inspired her, Shweta is a self-made musician like her mother.Shweta is being trained in Carnatic classical vocal currently under Smt. Binni Krishnakumar (noted carnatic and playback singer), Western vocal and piano under Mr. Augustine Paul and Hindustani vocal under Sri.
