Amigos is the seventh studio album from Santana. It contained a minor US hit single in "Let It Shine" and was the band's first album to hit the top ten on the Billboard charts (it ultimately reached gold record status) since Caravanserai in 1972. In Europe the song "Europa" was released as a single and became a top ten hit in several countries. Romanian band Bosquito included an adapted version of the song "Gitano" on their "Cocktail Molotov" album in 2003. The song was renamed "Gosa como yo". Currently a live version of the song has been performed as a Mashup (music) of "Gitano" and Manu Chao's Clandestino (song).
