Release
Levente Marton (better known as Sunny LAX) has become one of the most reputable producers of trance music over the past several years with massive hits like "P.U.M.A.," "Blue Bird" and "Mique." Hot off the heels of his latest successful single "Reborn," Sunny LAX delivers yet again with "Release," a melodic and moody EP that flexes both his progressive and uplifting muscles. The original is a deep yet trancey affair, similar to "Reborn" but with a bit more of the old Sunny LAX feel. Proggy percussion is topped off with beautiful synth-work and some catchy melodic hooks. The uplifting mix kicks this 'release' in the clutch, adding in some real power. A stronger percussion is accompanied by edgier synths and a slightly varied theme. Fans of Sunny's newer trance sound will dig this one. Rounding things off in a fashionable manner, we have "Drive At Six O'Clock," a beautiful track that had been sitting on Sunny LAX's hard drive for quite some time. Mesmerizing layers of pads, FX and melodies will grab you by the eardrums from the start and won't let go until the last bar. Overall "Release" displays the supreme craftmanship and attention to detail that Sunny LAX consistently puts into his work. Whichever flavor of his you prefer, there's something here for you!
