Kada (pronounced “kay-duh”) is a nineteen year old aspiring electro-pop artist who 100% produces, writes, and performs all her songs. From Hong Kong and being part Chinese and Portuguese, she has an eclectic background ready to tell her story. By learning how to manage herself totally as an artist and have full creative control, she is also able to express herself in her most natural form whilst still being business-minded. Kada has performed at countless gigs and talent shows throughout her life since age thirteen, when she first taught herself guitar and fell in love with it. After many years of creating YouTube videos and covers, she has luckily progressed to singing in her first feature film this summer in Asia (under former name Kayla Dawn) and has discovered the music production world. She hopes to reach new audiences overseas and cross genre boundaries as her never-ending passion for music and creation drives her forward.
