Úyanga Bold is a genre bending vocalist and recording artist from Mongolia based in Los Angeles. Forbes magazine Romania says “her voice harkens back to ancient civilizations” and Cosmopolitan magazine Mongolia nominated her “Best Female Singer of the Year“. Úyanga was recently featured at the Tenerife International Film Festival with the Tenerife Symphony and Choir in the Canary Islands performing “Batman: The Dark Knight” Suite. She performed on Blizzard Entertainment’s critically acclaimed Overwatch animations garnering millions of views and sang Masters of War for the League of Legends Paris World Championship. Úyanga’s vocals also appear on Neal Acree’s award-winning soundtrack “Revelation”, released on Varèse Sarabande records. Úyanga performed with Grammy Award winning African icon Angélique Kidjo and the Women of the World, with triple Grammy and American Music Award nominee Blu Cantrell and with her own award winning band. Her voice is featured in commercials for the Boston Ballet, Google and Disney Mickey Mouse Club in Japan. Úyanga was invited to perform at the Palace of Culture in Romania with The Masterpiece Experience at the nationally broadcast Festivalul Internaţional al Educaţiei (FIE) sponsored by the Ministry of Culture. She also appeared with the Bucharest Symphony Orchestra performing the reinterpreted live version of Hans Zimmer’s Batman: The Dark Knight” Suite featuring Tina Guo on electric cello, collecting millions of views online and praise from printed media. During her studies at Berklee College of Music, Úyanga represented Asia and Mongolia in concerts and appearances, notably with the “Rhythm of the Universe” project. She performed as a lead vocalist with the Video Game Orchestra (VGO) at the Boston Symphony opening for Alan Silvestri, at Outside the Box Boston inaugural press conference and closing concert, at Massachusetts Remembers 9/11 at the Hatch Memorial Shell, and at Harvard honoring Bill Clinton and Chelsea Clinton. Úyanga appeared on major television networks in Mongolia including UBS TV, UBS Music, C1 and Channel 25, on Japanese television as part of the Google and Disney campaigns, on radio and TV including ABC5’s WCVBTV in Boston, in European national television and radio broadcasts, including Swiss radios NRJ and Radio Fribourg, and in select theaters in the USA with solo vocals featured in the documentary Until It Hurts released in 2015 and the upcoming science fiction thriller Aurora (2016). Úyanga was born in Moscow and grew up performing in Switzerland and Mongolia. She speaks English, French, Russian and Mongolian, and sings in many languages including Bulgarian, Japanese and Bambara from Mali. She currently works as a freelance vocalist and recording artist, tours with the Masterpiece Experience and collaborates with composers and musicians from around the world.
