Since 1980 the sisters Ileana, Iulia, Valentina, Romela si Maria Osoianu have been recognized as the 'five twin voices' who promoted and continue to promote the value and authenticity of our folklore, at home and abroad. All that is called tradition and represents a national treasure. Mentol, originally from Brasov, took those magnificent Romanian elements and combined them with the nowadays tech-house sounds, creating a so called 'can't sit down on the dance floor'. All this came with the desire to promote the authentic Romanian folklore above all.
