Musically, the album is a excellent blend of slick hip-hop and smooth '70s-style soul, but it suffers a bit from buried vocals and meandering melody lines. Not a bad debut effort, but while Cherokee's sultry vocals are capable of seducing, she needs more memorable hooks to keep listeners under her spell.
