MobStyle is 1/2 Mob Royalle, and 1/2 KriStyle. They are a male-female duo, focusing around a core of hard-hitting-yet-conscious hip hop while at the same time flirting with a myriad of other genre influences - from acoustic rock, to metal, to reggae, to EDM, and beyond. This duo calls Oregon home. Among their qualities are intricate instrumentation in original beats, strong lyrical ability and able vocal performances, their gift for connecting with the audience in high energy stage shows, and above all, the message filled content that fuels their music. Coming from a lifelong music theory background, Mob spent the early years of his life as a singer-songwriter, specializing in various forms of rock and choral music. At 14 years old he began producing instrumentals and at 18 was performing hip hop at live venues. KriStyle was born and raised in the Northwest, and settled in Salem, OR about ten years ago. Hailing from a poetry background, she is active in her community, and an avid participant in hip-hop culture. "I have found the perfect way to blend my love for underrepresented people and the arts," she says. "I have always been passionate about multimedia forms of expression (especially music and writing), and being a voice for the voiceless. Plus, I've always been poor. I was destined to love hip-hop." Together, Mob Royalle and KriStyle's chemistry was undeniable, so they began making music and touring as a duo. MobStyle began gaining rapport at venues throughout cities in Oregon, Washington and California, and building an international fan base. They released their 10-track debut EP titled "Evil Genius" in October 2014, followed up by their "4Ever Dangerous" Single featuring Luckyiam and Lana Shea in September of 2015. Currently they are working on a full length LP release in 2016.
