Silk City, an EP put together by five friends who met at the University of Pennsylvania, is the band's first release. This collection of songs was recorded over two years in Philadelphia, a city that seriously influenced the band's approach to writing and recording. With roots in California, Georgia and New York, the band's diverse musical tastes, in jazz, rock and blues, are each represented on the album. Collaboration was key in the recording process, as the lead singer played percussion, the drummer contributed lyrics and the lead guitarist offered up bass ideas. The band is currently working on their second release in New York City.
