Train O’ Freedom is a precious hand of songs in the style of Negro Spirituals that I wrote & recorded in one fell swoop. I am so passionate about Train O’ Freedom that I chose to release this very special original recording to you. I love the nuance of each of the songs. One day I will re-record them, but until then, enjoy them in their current state of being. This recording reminds me of the old ones from the turn of the century when recording techniques were far from perfect but still carry the sacred vibration of the singer’s heart and soul. Train O’ Freedom was recorded LIVE on a Treo cell phone in August 2010. Because of this, there is some distortion and other sound imperfections. I have done my best by using the top restoration sound engineer in Nashville and my own sylable by sylable edits to repair and shapesfhift my treasures reducing the distortion as much possible. I release this CD out for you to enjoy because my heart is so excited about sharing the beauty of these songs just the way they came out of me the first time. May these songs inspire you in many ways. Take their meaning literally or symbolically on what level they move you! Enjoy them as much as I do!
