The album Sounds of Solitude: CyberTech Dreaming, is inspired by the great musician/artist Lawrence "Black Surfer" Farmer. Listening to his music pushed me to new levels of practice and freedom. As I am first a drummer/percussionist, I want people to be able to listen to my music and pit themselves in their own dreams/imaginations/visions God has for them. When he gives you a vision, you see yourself doing just that, whatever it is he gave you to see, and so you should feel a sense of peace pursuing and working towards it. This album is a series of drum-less tracks more so for listeners to closely listen to the music and focus on what is being played. Compared to my last album, "Sounds of Solitude by Marcus James", this is a new level for me on keys alone. As I have found that everything I want to hear percussion wise, I can put music to it playing the keys.
