In the beginning we didn't consider the idea of making remixes of this track, as we thought it's not even possible to beat the original from ME & MY TOOTHBRUSH. ONE THING was the title track from the same titled EP we released mid November 2014. The original still gets hundreds of radio plays every week and evolved from an outstanding nu disco track to become a classic of its genre within only a few months. Eventually we decided to organize a remix package but going for artists that might provide a remix that takes a different direction than the original. First remix comes from NORA EN PURE who brings out a solid deep house interpretation that convinces with delightful piano chords, tropical marimba licks and a proper club arrangement. We couldn't expect for more. Second remix comes from UK based eSQUIRE who made a bootleg of ONE THING that ended up getting regular spins in our bro EDX's DJ sets. When we heard the first raw bootleg draft, we were overwhelmed by potential and vibes he brought into his mix by adding uplifting piano licks and a pulsing beat section.
