School Night
This EP flew under the radar for a couple months after its release, but it’s finally starting to pick up steam, and not a moment too soon. Thomston is a new name hailing from Auckland, New Zealand, and his music is the kind of well-crafted audio art that will get you excited for what he’ll be releasing next. The EP is only five tracks long, so there’s absolutely no wasted space on this one, and each and every song could have done well as a stand alone single. With the constant flood of new artists surfacing nearly every day, fans of independent music have never had it better, but the flip side to that coin is that it’s become nearly impossible for a new name to get noticed amongst a sea of other, very talented, hopefuls. However, despite all of this, there are an exclusive few who have been able to make it happen anyways, and are well on their way to becoming household names. It’s still very early in his career, but Thomston looks to be on that path, and his future definitely looks bright.
