Team Henchmen: in the building! The group Team Henchmen founded its name watching lots of mob flicks. The original name of the group was "Henchmen Committee" and had six members out of which only three remain. 6ix 5ive, Awsum, and Ken Clay defined the word Henchmen with the rest of the family and put the word team in front. Reasons why?, Because, Henchmen is a team that knows each other & their loved ones which other cats don't. Team Henchmen has been together since birth, but really pulled together two years ago (2004). Team Henchmen has performed in many clubs, bars, college's and some fashion shows in the New York area. Team Henchmen has performed in other states such as: Connecticut, Philadelphia, New Jersey, Virginia and Washington D.C.. Over those long two years Team Henchmen had enough. They put their heads together and built a studio in Awsums mother's basement. With Team Henchmen being its own distributors, engineers & song writers they managed to make hits after hits. After its all said and done Team Henchmen came up with their record label name: Do it Urself Entertainment! So, keep an eye out for this amazing team of never-say-quit individuals
