Instead of addressing the concerns of his long-time fans, Loggins proceeded farther into contemporary sounds, employing multiple producers, the likes of Patrick Leonard (Madonna) and Peter Wolf (Starship), all to little effect. This was Loggins' first solo album to miss gold certification, and made his career crisis official.
