Jane Foster collaborates again with pianist Connie Winoski in these selections of Broadway melodies. A classically trained singer, Jane has appeared in opera and recital in Europe and the United States. She made her European operatic debut as Gilda (Rigoletto) as a guest artist with the Silesian Theater in Opava, Czech Republic. Since this debut, Jane has added many roles to her repertoire including the role of Elsa (Lohengrin) which she recently performed in concert in New York City. Her New York Debut Recital in Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie Hall was devoted entirely to a program of French Romances & Mélodies. Of Jane's debut recital, music critic, Leighton Kerner said: ". . . Jane's artistry enabled her to penetrate to the core of the song." Connie Winoski is a graduate of Julliard and has performed in Japan, Germany and throughout the United States. Her thirty years of professional experience has included a wide range of musical styles including classical piano, jazz trio and even a rock band. Connie can count many dignitaries among her appreciative audiences, including the Emperor of Japan and President Bill Clinton. Jane and Connie can be heard almost every Sunday singing and playing their praises and thanksgivings at Trinity Church Gulph Mills in King of Prussia, Pennsylvania.
