When novelist, filmmaker and music producer Stephen Pytak embarked on "Dancing Shadows," a music and film project, in 2012, he commissioned a few artists to interpret the material. Among them was Scott "Flip" Wesp, who specializes in keyboard instrumentals and dark industrial rock. Flip is a solo artist who has been creating, recording, producing and writing electronic music since 2009, according to Flip's Facebook page. Stephen recorded numerous versions of "Dancing Shadows" with Jenna McBreen. She's a budding stage and screen actress. She's also a singer who recorded her first original track in 2011. She works hard to further her acting career, hoping someday to be given the opportunity to perform on Broadway. She's a 2006 graduate of Schuylkill Haven Area High School, Schuylkill Haven, Pa. In 2010, she earned a degree in theater, music and dance from Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa. Her dream is to work the stages on Broadway. Stephen and Jenna had worked previously on a song Stephen wrote the lyrics for in 2011, "Sweet Echo of Memory." While Flip developed his instrumentals at his studio in Ohio, Stephen recorded Jenna's vocals for industrial rock versions of "Dancing Shadows" at the Sovereign Majestic Theater in Pottsville, Pa. Once Flip completed his instrumentals, Stephen weaved Jenna's sensual voice into them. The version called "The Jenna-vieve Mix" is certainly a stand-out. Dark and sensual, groovy and fun. And it's just one of the tracks on the album "Dancing Shadows" to be released by Mazz Press on Oct. 26, 2012. He is known for writing a series of novels following the adventures of a low-rent mercenary known as "The .40 Caliber Mouse." The fourth book in the series, "Katerina Blues," is due out in early 2013. Since 2010, Stephen has made a few short films and hired musicians to produce music related to the series. "Dancing Shadows" is both a film and a music project. Jenna, who has appeared in two of Stephen's films, reprises her role as "Marci," former FBI agent turned mercenary. The film also stars dancer and model Ariel Fulmer as "Kim Barron."
