Daya's next EP "In Between Dreams," will come day and date with a visualizer for "See You In My Dreams Tonight" and will continue to showcase the next cohesive phase of great pop music featuring collaborations with The Gifted, Oscar Scheller, Andrew Goldstein and Sophie Cates. “See You in My Dreams Tonight” is about longing and regret— wishing for the ability to go back and alter the events that led to the end of a relationship. It’s knowing that even if I were to try and fix things now, the relationship has been tainted and can never be fully experienced in the way it was once ever again. So it’s imagining this dream-like world where I can navigate it with the hindsight I’ve gained in order to avoid it ever ending in the first place.
