Porchlight Films has released a soundtrack album for the World War II drama Lore. The album features the film’s original score composed by Max Richter (Waltz With Bashir). The soundtrack is now available digitally on iTunes, where you can also listen to audio clips. Lore is directed by Cate Shortland (Sommersault) and stars Saskia Rosendahl, Kai Malina, Ursina Lardi and Nele Trebs. The film set is in 1945 Germany at the end of the war and follows five children whose Nazi parents have been taken into custody by the Allies. The German/Australian/Scottish co-production premiered at the Sydney Film Festival this summer and has been selected as the Australian entry for the Best Foreign Language category at the 85th Academy Awards. Music Box Films has picked up domestic rights for the movie. No release date has been announced yet.
