The Dragon Fist image album was released in 1989, a year or two before the OVA was created. Kawai Kenji composed the music for this album as well as for the OVA OST. Both the image album and OVA OST album includes vocal and instrumental tracks, but has no drama tracks. Katayama Shuu contributed to the album by writing lyrics for two of the vocal tracks. The booklet/explanation sheet includes a comment by Katayama Shuu and explanations (main themes and ideas) for each of the tracks.
