The Eastern Shore Native and Hip Hop Artist, Feva Da General born Keith Miles hails from Salisbury, MD (known as the capital of the Eastern Shore). The 28 year old has been making music since he was 14 years old, and became interested in music at a much earlier age than that. He started getting recognized as a talented MC in 2003 as a high school student when he linked up with two fellow classmates to form the group Full Clip. While together, Full Clip dropped two mix tapes which set the platform for them as being recognizable artists in their area. As their CD’s started to circulate throughout the school, they were gaining momentum, popularity, and the support of their fellow classmates as well as the schools staff. Around the end of 2005 and the start of 2006 the situation with Full Clip began to fall apart. One of the members and Feva was not on speaking terms, while the other member got incarcerated, the Full Clip feud was a test to Feva’s hunger. After the fallen apart of Full Clip, Feva was left with nothing and no studio to record in. Summer of 2007was the rebirth or resurrection of Feva Da General. It was then when he bought his self a computer, head set, microphone, and a studio program. From there, Feva was on his own 2 feet and shortly after investing in his own equipment he dropped his first solo mix tape, in that same year. Through all the drama, struggles, trials, and tribulations Feva Da General overcame it all and started his own label, calling it S.Y.G.U. Entertainment. S.Y.G.U. is the acronym for Step Your Game Up, a well fit saying, because Feva tends to make every other local artist in his region step it up a notch. With the building of S.Y.G.U. Entertainment, Feva went through different parts in his city grabbing hot artists, and he built a core unit. From there, he and his label’s buzz were officially established.
