This is the second album from pianist and guitarist Dave Stewart. Since his release of his first album, which has had rave reviews. He has toured the UK and composed new material which you can hear on this album. This album has a more produced and polished sound to it. With Dave himself growing as an artist, it shows his skills as a pianist and guitarist in more depth. Pushing his musical abilities as well as his songwriting abilities. Not only does it show off his playing, but he has now progressed into different directions as an artist. This has lead to compose and record tracks with violinist Rachel Gorman and percussionist Jason Mallett. With these two additions to the album, it really does show that Dave Stewart has released something special. The opening track "Follow" shows how beautiful the addition of Rachel has been. Her playing blends in with Dave's piano melodies and the two together are wonderful. "Last Dance" shows another side with Dave, Jason and Rachel playing together. Giving it a full sound, with a nice upfront and pleasant blend with all the instruments together. "Reflection Of The Sky" shows off his percussion acoustic guitar technique and "Breathe" has a Spanish flare that is a must listen. This album is a must buy album for any fans of Ludovico Einaudi, Michael Nyman, Thomas Newman, Philip Glass, Andy McKee. Amongst fans of chilled out music thats easy listen and pleasant on the ears.
