The Texas band Crossfire worked the five state area around Texas from 1981 to 1984 when the band moved to Los Angeles to pursue some recording opportunities. The members, Jeff Hendrix (Guitars and Vocals), Rick Locke (Bass, Keys and Vocals) and Randy Jones (Drums) developed what could be called a "Southern Power Trio" style. The band parted in 1989 due to different interests but leaves behind a great deal of powerful southern rock.
