Kenny G was born Kenneth L. Johnson. September, 30th 1993. In Los Angeles, California. To Jamie Johnson and Wesley (j funk) Johnson / Manager of the late great (Coke Escovedo) R.I.P. of Mercury Records. Disco Fantasy and Comin' At Ya! Are a couple of Coke's Recordings. Kenny G's Father now manager Wesly (j funk) Johnson is one Kenny's main push into the Music Industry besides, his whole family being Hip-Hop/Rap Artist who also compose,write and produce they're own music. Kenny G's family moved to Minneapolis, Minnesota from Los Angeles, California in the year of 2001 when he was around the age 8. This was only to set a better life for Kenny and the rest of the family. Not knowing that the streets of minneapolis are not as violent but are very simialar to the streets of los angeles. Kenny always listened to his parents but often looked up to his older brother Nicholas "jinx" Johnson. Jinx ran the streets of northside mpls tough and hustled to take care of his family. Living in minneapolis, minnesota ain't easy so negativity soon began to rub off on Kenny. Although times have been hard growing up in the nieghborhood of northside mpls Kenny remains to rise above it all. Kenny has always been around hip/hop music since he was born because of his dad, which means it is very natural that he would have some kind of talent in the music industry. He began rapping and writing rhymes in 2007, and he's only getting better. His debut album is available now titled "I DO IT!" He is currently enrolled in high school seeking his education / high school diploma. Kenny is also C.E.O. of Klique Track Records. Kenny is a very smart, and determined young man.
