Cara is a singer songwriter currently residing in San Diego. She moved all over the United States as a child experiencing a great deal of the US and all the different people within it. Feeling lonely and always being the "new girl" made it difficult for her to fit in. Cara found comfort in music and books. She would lay on the floor, play her Mom's old records and daydream. She would write stories and tinker around on the instruments in the house. Cara was enrolled in Piano lessons around the age of 8, however she refused to practice the music assigned by her teacher and it was suggested that she quit. The piano lessons dissolved at this point, however, Cara never stopped spending hours at the Piano making up her own instrumental tunes. As the years passed Cara dabbled in dance, musical theater and singing. Eventually she taught herself to play the acoustic guitar and began putting her poetry to music. Today Cara is always writing new music that is inspired by the places she goes, people she meets and the various struggles she encounters along the way.
