August Moon is an American singer, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist. Formed in 2012 in Arden Hills, Minnesota. August Moon's music is described as indietronica and synthpop and is often described as belonging under the "electronic music" label, but he is also known for making acoustic music. Moon has stated that he is inspired by European electronic music, as well as instrumental genres such as dubstep, ambient, and post-rock.
