Hailing from San Francisco, Troy came up in the Fillmore district with a passion to one day share his lyrical art with the world. As a member of the collective "Legends Live Forever", formed in 2006, the group released several mix tapes and over time have been able to develop a brand. In 2013, the group set out to work on individual projects. Troy released Debut Solo project "Til Death Do Us Part" June 2013 followed by Project "10.20," the day he was born. Instead of receiving gifts, Troy chose to give back to the fans. Throughout 2013, Troy was able to headline shows in California. The Colonial Theater and Brick & Mortar Music Hall in San Francisco countless times, in addition to performing at several other venues throughout the Bay Area like Slim's 'Take Back Our City' show and 'Shock The Party' with Bay Area Legends such as San Quinn, Late Bay Area artist The Jacka, Equipto, and Big Rich just to name a few. Not to mention performances in Los Angeles that lead to opening for ground breaking artist like Nipsey Hussle’s during his “Crenshaw Tour” in Oakland. Troy was also blessed with the opportunity to grace the stage at the first annual “Haight Street Merchants Festival” in 2014. Troy has also been featured on the 24k Mix tape Compilation based out of the New York area and has been featured on the front pages of thizzler and wethewest. These accolades have come with a normal budget from countless hours of hard work. In addition to his everyday 9-5, Troy also coaches and referee's for youth basketball and lacrosse, all while dedicating long hours in the studio. As the saying goes, “long nights, early mornings.” Troy’s latest mix tape titled “Free Play” is a prelude to his upcoming Album “Forever & a Day,” set to release late 2015. The music that is being released will show the growth & Troy’s outlook on growing up in San Francisco & the bay area as a whole. This mix tape will have featured production from Merk S. Villain, Isaiah Eugene, as well as T-One Productions; the project will include vocal appearances from all of the above including fellow SF Native Ya Boy, Marley McNealy, Space Cadet & more. It Promises to be a great body of work from a flourishing hip hop talent out of San Francisco. Ultimately the goal has been to push the brand "Legends Live Forever" to new heights and assure that the world experiences their impact. Over the years Troy & the Legends Live Forever team have branded their community heavily. Greater than just the music, the collective has made it a point to push the brand through apparel, visuals, and outreach programs. Troy as well as the rest of the Legends Live Forever crew has continuously volunteered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of America and assisted The City Eats team feed the community of San Francisco's homeless every month. Troy even went further and personally invested time in Project Level SF. This past spring he accompanied the youth to explore the opportunities in the music and entertainer industry down in Los Angeles. This brand has a great focus on empowering today’s society.’
