I have always loved music ever since I can remember. I come from a musical background where family members sang and played instruments in the church and clubs. There was always music playing around me and I loved to sing along. I even started writing songs myself. My influences are many such as Sade, Anita Baker, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross, Aretha Franklin, Adele, Jody Watley, Envogue, Alicia Keys etc. The List is endless, from the turn of the century to now, even the old jazz standards are great. For Instance, Ella Fitzgerald, Etta James, and Sam Cooke. These are some of the many artist that have inspired me through the years. I also like classical. I enjoy all genres of music, and would love for my music to crossover. No matter what age from 0 to 99, I would love to know that everyone is singing, dancing, tapping their feet and loving my songs. I have gotten feedback on my song" The Chatroom", and the people that have heard it, love it, they cant wait until its on the market. One man even asked me if he could buy the ringtone. I told him it wasn't on the market yet, but soon. The reason I wrote this song is because I started thinking about one of the many things people are always doing on their phones, tablets and laptops. The one thing we all have in common, which is socializing in the chat rooms. A bell went off in my head and I said, "I know! The computer, facebook, and twitter in the chat room", and that's how Chatroom was born. I'm so glad I came up with this idea, I know other artist have vaguely put things in their songs about this subject, but I decided to go head strong, all the way, and be gutsy about it. A man having his time in the chatroom and his woman wondering whats going on with her man. Why is he always spending so much time in the chat room? She wants to be whomever that woman is that he keeps drooling over in the chatroom. His woman should take first priority not some other heffa. My music is a mixture of R&B ,Neo-Soul, and Pop music, with a hint of Jazz flavor. I enjoy writing music, its one of the things I love to do , it's in my blood, spirit, heart, and soul. Music, melodies, and lyrics help me to express my inner thoughts. Writing helps to keep me afloat, focused, and most of all it makes me happy and soothes my soul. I enjoy writing about different topics, and I have so many ideas rolling around in my head. I can't wait to let it all out in my songs, and let the world hear what I have to say.
