The goal is a simple one: to change the world. A foolish one, perhaps, but in foolish dreams, greatness is born. In the naiveté of youth, there lies an overwhelming desire and unwavering belief in the ability to transform hopeless situations into positive ones. To bring back the lost messages of hope. love, peace, respect…. perhaps a useless, laughable dream to the wise among us, but a worthwhile passion just the same. And so in the midst of our cynicism we build dreams, in the midst of disappointments, loss and sorrow, we find a sense of unity with other members of the human race… and we see glimpses of encouragement, everywhere we look for it. We believe good things into existence, and although we don't have a strong idea of exactly what it is that we're finding, we know it's worth looking for…. so we strive and strain against the yoke of society, and let go of the prejudices and seeds of hatred that try to find a foothold… and in the making of music we transform not only our own attitudes toward ourselves and our circumstances, but we begin to find solutions for a brighter tomorrow. The change is slow and sometimes nearly imperceptible… and other times the waves of growth and synchronicity overwhelm us. But a relentless, unknown force within us and around us keeps us going, in this silly, foolhardy mission to bring light back to this planet. We don't know what it is, but we know where to find it. And we're bringing it back to earth. ;p
