A New Day is more than just a CD title. For The Boys, it’s a new beginning. Over the years we’ve been blessed with the talent and chemistry that created our signature sound. It’s quite flattering that many of the songs we recorded in the late 1980s are still appreciated and requested. Unfortunately back in 1990, typical life circumstances brought our musical collaborative efforts to a premature end. Ever since, we felt we had some unfinished business to tend to. Well, today The Boys have regrouped to pick up where we left off. It’s a new day! With this fresh body of work we have again employed our formula for presenting contemporary polka music. We did our best to deliver rich vocals, vibrant lead parts, and rock-solid rhythms encased in creative arrangements of original, traditional, and popular material. Our goal is simply to entertain you again with this approach on this recording and through our live performances as well. Hopefully, this CD might help in the overall mission to broaden the appeal of today’s polka music, preserve yesterday’s legacy, and solidify the future of the music we love. God willing, the time is right for A New Day!
