"Disposable Teens" is the first single from Marilyn Manson's fourth studio album Holy Wood (In the Shadow of the Valley of Death). The chorus borrows lyrically from the Beatles song, "Revolution." Leading up the final chorus, a synth guitar with flanging effects can be heard similar to that of The Beatles' song, as well. The lyrics describe the irony of teen rebellion in that teenagers who act violently in retaliation against parental and social authority eventually sell themselves out to adulthood and become the very authority they were revolting against, a theme that is very similar to Rebel Without a Cause.
