Something new from Ash, immediately feeling different from what he’s worked on before - an unashamed sad song ‘Shores’ who he worked on with a special friend; Moonessa. Expressing those sad feelings, ‘Shores’ opens with a dreamy melancholic organ combined with hypnotizing vocals from Moonessa. In true Ash style he added electronic elements and an unexpected drop, recording the wavy bass and high pitched guitar twangs in a way to make it sound different, almost unnatural to catch the listener’s attention. Accompanied with downtempo drums leading through the track to a dance-y beat.
