Full Dive illustrates the journey of our protagonist sinking into a different world. The first part of the song symbolizes the slow descent into this world. The protagonist falls deeper and faster and is finally in this different world. In this world, the protagonist meets a being called Mary. Mary puts up a friendly front and offers to show the protagonist around this world. Unexpectedly, Mary becomes "the darkness" and surrounds the protagonist. At first, the protagonist rejects the darkness, avoiding and trying to get away from it. But after struggling, the protagonist realizes that there is no point in struggling. The protagonist accepts the darkness and learns to deal with it. The protagonist was then able to escape from the world, ascending towards the sky, back to reality, stronger. This song basically symbolizes the path that we must take to accept ourselves (via accepting our darkness). It is a tough path, but we would come out stronger in the end.
